Jizhong Energy inks deal of first shipment of Guinean bauxite with Tianshan Aluminum

In November 2019, Jizhong Energy International Logistics Group and Tianshan Aluminum Group signed the contract for the first shipment of Guinean bauxite. This cooperation is the first attempt by the two sides for imported bauxite. It has a historic significance and the two sides have strong confidence in reaching a further close cooperation relationship in the whole industry chain.
Jizhong Energy International Logistics Group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jizhong Energy Resources Co., Ltd. which is among the world's top 500 enterprises in 2019. It is also one of the top five coal companies in China. It owns three listed companies and is engaged in commodity trade, modern logistics, pharmaceutical, chemical, electric power and equipment manufacturing. In 2019, Jizhong Energy Resources began to cooperate with Singapore's Winning Group and China Henan International Cooperation to sell Guinean bauxite, and is committed to becoming an integrated service provider of the world's leading aluminum industry chain.
Tianshan Aluminum has an annual production capacity of 1.2 million tonnes for priamry aluminum. In order to improve the industrial chain layout, it has invested in a new alumina plant in Guangxi. The phase I project with annual production capacity of 800,000 tonnes has been put into production.
