Froch's Taiwan plant delays the operating date for newly-added stainless steel tube to next year

Froch, a large producer for stainless steel tube and plate in Taiwan, plans to invest about TWD250 million (USD7.96 million) to increase the monthly capacity of Taiwan Stainless Steel Plant from 11,000t to 12,500t. The newly-added capacity was originally planned to be in operation in the fourth quarter of this year, but the completion of construction will be delayed to next March and the new capacity will be put into operation in next April due to adjustment on design for production line and equipment.
For capacity expansion in plant in mainland, Froch plans to invest TWD75 million (USD2.39 million) to increase the monthly stainless steel tube capacity from 5,000t to 6,000t; the new capacity is expected to be put into operation in the fourth quarter this year.
