On August 2, Wutai Yunhai Magnesium Co., Ltd. held an inauguration ceremony for its academician service station.
The station was a cooperation project between the company and National Engineering Research Center for Magnesium Alloys. Vice Mayor Fan Jianmin of Xinzhou, where the company is located, pointed out at the ceremony that Xinzhou was now at an important stage in its industrial upgrading endeavor, and academicians and other experts to work at the station were expected to help the company solve technical obstacles in magnesium alloy production, improve its economic results, build its magnesium industry into the company's strategic mainstay industry, and bring the company into the rank of globally leading magnesium producers.
