India announces final decision on non-cobalt high speed steel products from China

On August 1, 2019, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a circular announcing that final anti-dumping rulings were imposed on non-cobalt high-speed steel products originating in or importing from China, Brazil and Germany: the products involved in China, Brazil and Germany were dumped, causing substantial damage to Indian domestic industries, and the dumping was related to qualitative damage of Indian domestic industries
On August 14, 2018, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice that anti-dumping investigations on non-cobalt high-speed steel products originating in or importing from China, Brazil and Germany should be conducted in response to the application submitted by Graphite India Limited, a domestic Indian enterprise.
. Therefore, it is suggested that anti-dumping duties be levied on the products of the countries involved for a period of five years . The specific tax amount is shown in the table below . This case concerns products under Indian Customs Codes 72281010 and 72281090 and other parts of products under 7228.
