Yunnan to close small coal mines with annual capacity of below 300,000t by late 2021

The Yunnan People's Government recently issued the "Yunnan Coal Industry High Quality Development Three-Year Action Plan (2019-2021)" which clearly states that by the end of 2021, the number of coal mines in the whole province will be controlled within 200, orderly guiding the closure and withdrawal of small coal mines with capacity of 300,000tpa or less by the end of 2021.
