Lingshi government holds coordination meeting on Mg-alloy car hub project

On June 3, the government of Lingshi, Shanxi held a coordination meeting on Mg-alloy car hub project.
At the meeting, a representative from the project implementing party Shanxi Huayuan Magnesium Co., Ltd. briefed meeting participants on status quo of the magnesium alloy industry, the company's production technique and construction updates on the project. Officials from the local government gave their suggestions and recommendations on project site selecting and regulatory procedures in early stage.
In May 2019, Lingshi government and Huayuan Magnesium signed a cooperation agreement on a magnesium alloy car hub project with an annual production capacity of 5 million hubs and a total investment of RMB2.4 billion (USD347 million).
