Shanshan New Energy to invest in high-nickel cathode project

According to a report released by Shanshan Corporation on April 24th, as the national new energy vehicle industry develops rapidly, its Board of Directors approved its holding subsidiary Shanshan New Energy to invest in constructing a lithium-ion battery high-nickel cathode material project in the high-tech industry development zone in Changsha after fully considering the current production capacity of high-nickel products (with the grade of no less than 80%) and the development trend in the coming years of the subsidiary.
The project will have a designed production capacity of 28,800tpy and a total fixed asset investment of about RMB1.58 billion, aiming to further improve Shanshan New Energy's production scale of high-end power products including high-nickel/NCA and its core competiveness in related industrial chain.
