Antam to request additional nickel ore, bauxite export quotas for 2019

Indonesian state miner PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) recently said it plans to request for additional export quotas for nickel ore and bauxite this year.
Antam plans to raise its total nickel ore export quotas for 2019 to 5.2 million tonnes by requesting for additional 1.3 million tonnes of quota, according to Antam's Chief Executive Arie Prabowo Ariotedjo. For bauxite exports, the company plans to request for an additional quota of 2 million tonnes which would be added to an existing quota of 840,000 tonnes. The company plans to submit the additional quota proposal in the coming two months.
