Tianjin Maolian and Wanbao Minerals sign SPA of Co-Cu containing material

Beijing Hezong Science & Technology Co., Ltd announced that the company received a notice recently from its joint stock company Tianjin Maolian Technology Co., Ltd., which said that Tianjin Maolian and Wanbao Minerals signed a sales and purchase agreement (SPA) of Co-Cu containing material of 57,600wt (+/-10%).
According to the agreement, Wanbao Minerals shall supply 4,800wt (＋/-10%) of the material per month at least in two batches from 1 March, 2019 to 29 February, 2020.
The agreement would add about 4,000 metal tons of copper and 10,000 metal tons of copper to Tianjin Maolian, which will increase the capacity utilization of copper and cobalt smelters of Tianjin Maolian. It is expected that 16,000t of cobalt chloride and 10,000t of copper cathode would be produced.
