Baiyin Nonferrous signs copper concentrate import contract with Samsung C&T

On November 5th, at the first China International Import Expo, Baiyin Nonferrous Group signed an import contract with South Korea's Samsung C&T, aiming to import from the latter 50,000t of copper concentrate delivered through land transportation and 30,000t of the material delivered through sea transportation.
Baiyin Nonferrous started to import copper concentrate from Samsung C&T in 2000 and began to export silver ingot to the latter in mid-2000. The two parties have made comprehensive progress in trade cooperation. Specifically, Baiyin Nonferrous has imported about 500,000t of copper concentrate from Samsung C&T with a total import amount of about USD650 million, and at the same time has exported about 496t of silver ingot with a total export amount of around USD240 million. The trade cooperation plays an important role in boosting the two parties to realize win-win results.
