Baoti Group's titanium bar and wire output up by 80.45% YOY from Jan to Apr

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 25 May 18 - By the end of April, Baoti Group has totally produced 166.25t of titanium bar and titanium wire, up by 80.45% YOY.
From January to April, the order volume decreased by 2.4% YOY, but the contracts increased by 22.4% YOY. In addition, the order volume for titanium bar with a diameter of more than 25mm dropped sharply by 45.01% compared with the same period of last year, but that with a diameter of less than 25mm increased substantially by 48.04% YOY.
As the largest titanium mill products producer in China, Baoti Group sold 10,300t of titanium mill products in 2017 including 6,370t of titanium plate, 2,580t of titanium bar, 750t of titanium pipe, 51t of titanium wire, 278t of forgings, 133t of castings and 139t of other products.
Currently, prices for Chinese titanium bar TA1-30mm and titanium wire TA1-1mm stand at RMB120/kg (USD18.80/kg) and RMB190/kg (USD29.76/kg) respectively.
