Chongqing Jinshili Titanium expects to launch aviation titanium alloy project in October

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 23 May 18 - Chongqing Jinshili Titanium Co., Ltd. expects to launch the aviation titanium alloy project ("the Project") in October.
Located in the V3-2/1 area of V Zone of Longxing Group in Liangjiang New Area, the Project covers an area of 8.71hm2 with a total construction area of 42,517m2. With a total investment of RMB500 million, the Project focuses on vacuum arc remelting, forging, extruding and designing 5,000tpy of titanium alloy products.
The sales volumes of titanium mill products used in the aerospace industry have increased steadily in recent years and respectively registered 2,861t, 6,862t, 8,519t and 8,986t from 2014 to 2017 in China.
