Second round of central environmental protection inspections to be carried out in all provinces within three years

On March 29th, Liu Youbin, the news spokesman of Ministry of Ecology and Environment stated on the regular news conference for March that China will keep carrying forward the central environmental protection inspections and finish the second round of inspection in all provinces within three years.

According to Liu, Ministry of Ecology and Environment will earnestly implement the important speech and conference spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping and resolutely carry out the political responsibility of ecological civilization construction and environmental protection. In the future, they plan to carry out the following work:

Firstly, reflect and summarize the first round of environmental protection inspection and fight for the blue sky; secondly, finish the second round of inspection in all provinces within three years; thirdly, carry out flexible and irregular environmental protection inspections in some key fields; fourthly, set up central and provincial environmental protection inspection systems, continue to improve the long-term mechanism for environmental protection, and promote high-quality economic development.
