China's imports of refined tin and tin alloy from Bolivia down by 74.5% YOY in 2017

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 19 Mar 18 - According to statistics from Asian Metal, China totally imported 1,245t of refined tin and tin alloy from Bolivia in 2017, accounting for 31.46% of the total and down by 74.5% from 4,881t in 2016.
As tin prices in China were lower than those of import prices from Bolivia, China had not imported the material from the country since June 2017. Is is expected that Chinese tin prices would be still lower than those in the overseas market in 2018 and the imports of refined tin from Bolivia will further decline in the same period.
