China Molybdenum obtains high-tech enterprise certificate

China Molybdenum announced on late 7 December that the company was awarded "the Certificate of High-tech Enterprise" jointly issued by Henan Provincial Science and Technology Department, National Taxation Bureau of Henan Province, and Local Taxation Bureau of Henan. The certificate number is GR201741000176, and the eligibility is valid for 3 years.
The company said this certificate is re-identified after expiration date of the original "High-tech Enterprise Certificate". According to the relevant provisions of the state, the company is able to continue to enjoy the preferential tax policies on high-tech enterprises for three consecutive years (2017 to 2019) after it obtains the re-identification of "High-tech Enterprise Certificate", which means the company shall pay the corporate income tax at the tax rate of 15%. The company has made tax declaration and prepayment in accordance with the corporate income tax rate of 15% in 2017, therefore, obtaining the certificate of high-tech enterprise does not affect the relevant financial data of the company in 2017.
