HBIS launches BRESCO project

In order to implement the "Belt and Road Initiative," HBIS announced the launch of BRESCO at the 2017 International Capital Summit which was held in Beijing on November 30th to create a benefit sharing global trading platform.
It is said that the goal of HBIS's BRESCO project is to conduct strategic transformation on its controlled company Duferco DPH. As one of the world's largest steel trading and integrated service provider, Duferco DPH traded has businesses in more than 120 countries and provides services to over 43,000 customers worldwide. HBIS owned the largest marketing service network for steel and iron material in the world in 2015 since Duferco DPH became its controlled company, which provided all-round support for HBIS to speed up the implementation of "World HBIS" strategic concept.
The BRESCO project will integrate the comprehensive advantages of HBIS and Duferco DPH in the fields of manufacturing, marketing, financial services and international operation of steel materials, and introduce strategic partners in various related fields around the world to transform Duferco DPH from the leading international marketing service provider to a diversified energy and commodity trader and producer, making new contributions to the construction the "Belt and Road" and the world's economic inclusive growth. According to the plan, Duferco DPH 's annual sales volume will increase from the current USD6 billion to USD200 billion in 10 years.
According to the project implementation plan, BRESCO will establish headquarters in both Beijing and Switzerland.
