Tongwei Group's performance in first three quarters to up by 50%-70%

Tongwei Group released the performance broadcast for the first three quarters on late 10 September, expecting that the company’s net profit attributable to shareholders during the period will be RMB1.35-1.53 billion, up by 50%-70% YOY.
The company stated that the reasons for the increase were that firstly, they successfully finished the technology upgrade for polysilicon with the capacity rising from 15,000tpy to 20,000tpy and production cost decreasing further; alongside with the increasing prices, their profitable ability strengthen continuously; secondly, the solar cells performed great advantage with 2.4GW polycrystalline cell and 1GW monocrystalline cell reaching designed capacities; the utilization rate has exceeded 110% by now.
