Baotao finishes investment of RMB13.13 billion in projects of 7 emerging industries

Focusing on supply-front reform, Baotao city of Inner Mongolia completely stimulates the construction of major projects on 7 emerging industries in order to speed up the transformation from old kinetic energy to new kinetic energy through effective investment
These projects will form strong supports to stimulate industry and economy of Baotao city to transform and upgrade. In addition, the industrial park of Baotao Rare Earth with planned area of 490 square meters has launched construction; 5 new material projects such as the production line of 50t grapheme, are speeding up construction now, aiming to create a major industrial base for grapheme in Inner Mongolia or even in the whole country.

By late June, there had been 84 of investment projects about the 7 emerging industries in Baotao in total with planned investment of RMB71 . 48 billion in total, of which RMB13 . 13 billion were invested in the first half of 2017 . Representative projects included light alloy project of Guangdong Huayun Aluminum Industry with an annual capacity of 1 . 6 million tons and total investment of RMB18 . 6 billion, light metal project of East Hope Aluminum with an annual capacity of 500,000t and total investment of RMB4 billion, coal chemical project of Shenhua Group with total investment of RMB17 billion, chemical project of Shenwu Technology Group with total investment of RMB17 . 7 billion as well as high-performance NdFeB project of Yunsheng Magnetic with total investment of RMB290 million and rare earth new material project of nanosphere polishing slurry of Jinjie Company with total investment of RMB350 million. These projects will form strong supports to stimulate industry and economy of Baotao city to transform and upgrade.
