India to lodge anti-dumping investigation on photovoltaic cell and components

According to news from Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of People’s Republic of China, Bureau of Anti-dumping of India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced on July 21st that Indian enterprises filed a petition to lodge an anti-dumping investigation on imported photovoltaic cell and components native to Mainland China, Taiwan China and Malaysia. Director of Trade Remedy and Investigation Bureau of MOFCOM Wang Hejun commented that Chinese side wishes India to focus on the overall situation and hold a cautious attitude toward the case, as well as to carry out the investigation strictly in accordance with laws and regulations and avoid abuse of trade remedy measures.
