According to the first batch of 2017 SN standards released by General Administration of Quality Supervision (AQSIQ) of China, the “Detection of silicon, aluminum, manganese, phosphorus, copper, nickel, chromium and titanium in ferrovanadium exports on inductive coupling plasma AES” was listed, which was drafted initially by the Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Panzhihua, marking that the first SN standard involving vanadium and titanium products in Sichuan was born in Panzhihua
Compared with other national standards and industrial standards, the SN standards are more advantageous in aspects of cost, time efficiency, operation, technology and international recognition.
In late 2013, the Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Panzhihua’s project of SN standards was filed by China and the draft work was completed in late 2015, which was approved by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China in April 2016.
The SN standards not only provides more efficient detection method for ferrovanadium export enterprises, but also contributes new standards to regular detection or arbitration of trade parties.
According to sources, China can export about 5,000tpy of ferrovanadium before the SN standards and 3,000tpy comes from Pansteel.
. This achievement is of great significance to the development of Pansteel and the Chinese national ferrovanadium trading, which can also help Panzhihua obtain louder voice in the international market of ferrovanadium exports.
