China's steel exports down 28.5% y-o-y in April

According to China's Customs Statistics data showed in April 2017, China’s steel exports totaled 6.49 million tons, increased by 1.07 million tons compared with previous month, dell by 28.5% to 2.59 million tons compared with the same period last year.
In January-April of this year, China exports 27.21 million tons of steel, fell by 25.8% compared with the same period of last year. In April, China imports 1.08 million tons of steel, less than 220,000 tons compared with previous month, fell by 1.8% compared with the same period of last year.
