Electrolytic aluminum casting department of Chalco Guizhou Branch made a kind of new product recently, being successfully in pilot production of round alloy ingot with diameter of 457mm which was a new progress transforming from manufacturing construction type material to industrial type material.
The round alloy ingot is of large specification with single weight of nearly 3t and accordingly more difficulties for technological parameter to be adjusted. Staffs of the casting department have overcome many difficulties and made related controls strictly according to technology requirement to effectively guarantee the quality of the product.
