The ministry of finance released notification of affairs of opening of information of government procurement. The centralized procurement institutions shall open the information of supply agreement and procurement. They shall also open the specific transaction record except procurement information published in the Chinese government procurement network and local government procurement network. The specific transaction record of electronics stores and online market shall also be published.
The notification claimed that local government and departments have made progress in implementing the government procurement information disclosure mechanism, but there are also problems such that the construction of public platforms for information of procurement doesn’t reach the requirement and some departments don’t release news in time.
In order to improve the transparency of government procurement, the ministry of finance has proposed to promote the establishment of information network platform of local governments.
The notification also instructed that governments shall release procurement information comprehensively.
