Guizhou Huaren New Material formally established

The opening ceremony for Guizhou Huaren New Material Co., Ltd. was held at the Aluminum Industrial Park in Qingzhen, Guiyang on April 27.
Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (“Chalco”) signed the protocol with Guizhou government concerning the cooperative development between Chalco and local enterprises. They reached an agreement to jointly establish the project of 1 million tons of light alloy new material (“the project”). The project will be implemented in two phrases, including the construction of production lines of 500,000t of light alloy and carbon anode production base in southwest China, namely the phrase I project. The advanced energy-saving electrolytic cell of 500ka and relevant environmental protection technology will be used in the project. Base on the principle of complementary advantages and mutual benefit, Chalco reached an agreement with Hangzhou Jinjiang Group, Guizhou Industrial Investment Group and Qingzhen Industrial Investment Group to jointly establish the Guizhou Huaren New Material Co., Ltd., which will be responsible for the project.
