GEM plans to sell 12,000t of ternary material and lithium cobalt oxide in 2017

GEM released the 2016 annual report on March 7 at night that it realized the operation revenue of RMB783,589.85, up by 53.13% YOY; the net profits belonging to shareholders of listed companies were RMB26,373.19, up by 71.02% YOY.
According to GEM, during 2017, it will further solidify the cobalt-nickel-tungsten core business, try its best to develop the market, improve the quality, upgrade the frock and expand the scale of the core products including cobalt flake, cobalt powder, cobaltosic oxide, nickel sulphate, cobalt carbonate, nickel carbonate and tungsten carbide with delicacy management, well manage its core business, and produce high-end and high-quality products in the industry chain. In the meantime, it will develop raw materials of NCM precursors and NCM power battery materials rapidly. What’s more, it will cooperate with well-known enterprises at home and abroad such as CATL-BP and Samsung and realize operation on specific line to reach the designed capacity; the company will strive to realize a sales volume of 22,000t of NCM precursor and 12,000t of ternary material and lithium cobalt oxide in 2017.
