Luoyang Hexin Titanium begins construction of titanium projects

Baoji Hexin Metal Co., Ltd. (“Baoji Hexin Metal”) recently began the construction of project of 2,000tpy of titanium and titanium alloy rod wire products, the first project to enter and be stationed in New Titanium Industrial Park (“the industrial park”)in Luoyang with total investment of RMB200 million. Luoyang Hexin Titanium Co., Ltd. is an independent incorporated company invested by Baoji Hexin Metal.
The project introduced one production line of 1,500tpy of titanium and titanium alloy rod products and 500tpy of titanium and titanium alloy wire products respectively with wide application in various industries including aviation, navigation, energy, metallurgy, medical treatment, 3D printing, high-end equipment manufacturing and electronic products, etc.
Relevant source revealed, “The project, when goes in production, will directly undertake and consume raw material titanium sponge from Luoyang Shuangrui Wanji Co., Ltd. with logistic costs decreasing sharply. At the same time, titanium alloy rod products produced from the project can be both sold and for self use, and will be used as raw material for future downstream enterprises in the industrial park.”
Currently, the project has basically gone through all formalities with bounding wall being built and land leveling to be started soon. The initially recruited 30 employees have been sent to Baoji factory for skill training. It is expected that the project’s capacity for titanium and titanium alloy rod wire products will reach 2,000tpy with sales revenue exceeding RMB300 million.
