Qinghai Juneng Titanium gets 10% of Chinese market shares

Recently, Qinghai Juneng Titanium Co., Ltd. has signed production contract of 6,000t of titanium sponge and pure titanium ingot with Western Metal Materials Co., Ltd. and gets 10% of market shares in Chinese titanium casting industry.
As the subsidiary of Qinghai Hydropower Group, Juneng Titanium is the only national high-tech enterprise dedicating on the smelting and processing of titanium and titanium alloy in Qinghai.
In early this year, Juneng Titanium negotiated with Northwest Institute For Non-ferrous Metal Research, Western Metal Materials Co., Ltd. and Xi’an Zhuangxin New Material Co., Ltd. They finally defeated several competitors and got sales order of 6,000t of titanium sponge and pure titanium ingot. The newly increased production value will be RMB396 million. It’s also the first single order of the company to be above 1,000t since the founding of the company in 2008. The company totally sold 650t of titanium products from January to February with revenue of RMB42 million.
It’s reported that Qinghai Hydropower Group will build production base of titanium sponge of high quality with an annual capacity of 15,000t in Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.
