Lomon announces the ninth price increase of titanium dioxide

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 2 Aug 16 - A source from Lomon reported to Asian Metal that the company released news of new prices of titanium dioxide on 2nd Aug, the ninth price increase this year so far.Asian Metal Copyright “We announced the price increase on Tuesday afternoon and the new quotations are effective immediately,” said the source, noting that they have decided to raise the price by USD50t to USD2,050t FOB China on export market and RMB300t USD45t and RMB500t USD75t in domestic market to dealers and end users respectively in domestic market.Asian Metal Copyright Market insiders believe that some domestic producers will follow Lomon’s footstep to mark up quotations in the near term.

Additionally, the source revealed that Lomon produced about 25,000 tons of titanium dioxide in July and they have managed orders of the coming two months, holding under-control stock at present.

Founded in 1985 and located in Mianzhu, Sichuan, with an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of titanium dioxide, Lomon is one of the most important titanium dioxide producers in China and one of the influential titanium dioxide giants all over the world.
