AM Statistics: Chinese consumption for aluminum fluoride up by 1.27% MOM in June

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 7 Jul 16 - According to Asian Metal Database, China consumed around 45,000t of aluminum fluoride in June 2016, up by 1.27% MOM, much lower than the output increase speed of 2.25%. In June, eight aluminum ingot smelters increased production and consumption for aluminum fluoride, spreading in Shandong, Guizhou, Sichuan, Chongqing, Fujiang, Gansu and Guangxi.
Shandong and Xinjiang are two major aluminum fluoride consumption provinces. In June, the consumption in Xinjiang was stable at around 9,000t, while the demand in Shandong edged up by 0.7% MOM to around 11,400t.
However, sales volume of aluminum fluoride did not move up in June. Instead, the sales decreased by 9% MOM to around 47,000t, indicating huge stocks in China.
