AM Statistics: Chinese consumption for imported bauxite up by 8.7% MOM in June

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 6 Jul 16 - According to Asian Metal Database, China consumed around 5 million tonnes of imported bauxite in June, up by 8.7% MOM. Alumina refineries in Shandong continued resuming production in June, leading to demand increase. The annual consumption capacity reached around 67.8 million tonnes in June, up from 66.5 million tonnes in May.
