BEIJING (Asian Metal) 14 May 15 - Welded pipe market in Singapore remains sluggish, and local prices show signs of decreasing. Insiders deem that the Singaporean welded pipe market will remain inactive for some time.
A trader in Singapore reveals to Asian Metal that the local price of welded pipe ASTM A53 Φ114.3mm*3.75mm imported from China is SGD694/t (USD520/t), stable compared with that of last week.
The source tells Asian Metal that most end users just purchase in small quantities to meet their urgent needs, so downstream demand shows no signs of releasing. Currently, his sales performance is quite unsatisfying and he only holds a small stock of 400-500t against the target one of 1,000t to avoid risks.
