BEIJING (Asian Metal) 20 Mar 15 - Thai welded pipe prices move down and the market does not make much progress because of weak demand. Insiders are pessimistic about the coming market.
A trader from Bangkok tells Asian Metal that the price of welded pipe ASTM A53B Φ114.3mm*3.75mm is THB22,000/t (USD672/t) VAT excluded, down by THB500/t (USD15/t) compared with that of last week.
Noted by the source, new construction projects have not been operated after the Lunar New Year holiday and the bidding period is likely to last for 3-4 weeks further. With the normal sales volume of about 1,000tpm, the source does not think the sales target can be accomplished this month.
