AM Statistics: Xinjiang will see 2 million tonnes of aluminum ingot capacity coming on stream in 2015

Xinjiang Xinfa Group plans to put about550,000t of aluminum ingot project into operation on 2015. Their capacity ofsmelting aluminum has reached 1,350,000tpy and now they keep four power generators with capacity of360,000KWH and two power generators with capacity of 1,100,000KWH on running.The company has intention to make their capacity reach about 1,900,000tpy atthe end of 2015.
Xinjiang Tianshan Aluminum Co., Ltd plans to put 300,000-400,000t ofaluminum ingot project into operation in 2015, and the capacity would reach1.4-1.5 million tonnes at the end of 2015. Their capacity of aluminum ingotshas reached about 1.1 million tonnes till now and they hold eight powergenerators with a capacity of 350,000KWH for each on running currently.
Xinjiang East Hope Nonferrous Metals Company Limited plans to expand itscapacity of smelting aluminum to 1.4-1.5 million tonnes at the end of 2015. Andthe company has intention to put about 500,000-600,000t of aluminum ingotprojects into operation in 2015. The capacity has reached 900,000t at the endof 2014 and there are five power generators with capacity of 350,000KWH onrunning.
Xinjiang Qiya Group designs to put about 280,000t ofaluminum ingot project into operation in 2015, and the plant is running at thecapacity of 560,000tpy. Currently, there are three power generators with a capacity of360,000KWH for each on running.
