AM Statistics: Lateritic nickel ore stocks in China down by 350,000t Jun 3-6

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 9 Jun 14 - According to latest statistics released by Asian Metal, the stocks of lateritic nickel ore in Chinese main ports (nine ports) were around 16,770,000t on Jun 6, 2014, down by 350,000t compared with May 30.
Because of the high high-grade lateritic nickel ore prices, most customers purchased from hand to month, and trading for high-grade lateritic nickel ore was inactive during the week. However, the demand for low-grade lateritic nickel ore increased sharply and prices continued to increase. Many traders were busy purchasing low-grade lateritic nickel ore. As a result, Chinese lateritic nickel ore stocks in ports decreased slightly during the week.
