BEIJING (Asian Metal) 18 Nov 13 - The South Korean welded pipe export market is quiet due to the soft demand from related industries in international market and local market
A trader in Seoul says that his quotation for JIS G3452 Φ114.3mm*4.5mm is USD760/t FOB South Korea, stable compared with that of last week.
According to the source, the export market was unsatisfying recently and the demand from other countries was still soft. In addition, POSCO moved down the list price of HRC by KRW30,000/t last week, and the price went back to the level in September . He points out that without the strong support of production cost, pipe steel mills are likely to cut quotations in the short term.
