30ktpa graphite anode material project to break ground in Qiandongnan

On January 4, Huiyang (Guizhou) New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. reached an agreement with Qiandongnan High-Tech Zone to develop a synthetic graphite anode material project with a production capacity of 30,000 tonnes per annum.
The total investment for the project is around RMB300 million (USD41.91 million), including fixed investment of RMB150 million (USD20.96 million). The project will build a production line with capacity of 30,000tpa of high-end synthetic graphite anode material used for lithium battery in the first year of construction, followed by a 10,000tpa fast-charging and high-rate anode material production line in the second year.
