Ansteel Mining kicks off construction of 4Mtpa pellet belt roasting production line

Ansteel Group Mining Corporation Limited recently broke ground on a pellet production line using belt roasting machine with a production capacity of 4 million tonnes per annum at Dong'an sintering plant, and it is the first line of its kind ever built in Liaoning, China.
The new production line uses low-silicon high-grade iron concentrate from Ansteel as the raw material to produce high quality alkaline pellet. Compared with existing production line, the proportion of pellets produced by the new line consumed in blast furnace would increase by 10%, which is expected to help Dong'an sintering plant become a top production base marked by low energy consumption, low emission, high intelligence and high efficiency.
