Xinyu Iron & Steel Corporation Limited (Xinsteel) produced 1.09 million tons of electrical steel in 2022, with the share of medium-to-high grade silicon steel surpassing 80%. Xinsteel is now one of the few Chinese companies capable of producing all types of non-oriented electrical steel, including thin gauge, high grade non-oriented electrical steel.
