Chinese chromium oxide green prices steady

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 27 Apr 23 – Most suppliers keep their prices unchanged from early this week due to the unchanged demand. Currently, the mainstream prices for chromium oxide green 99%min 325mesh stand at RMB27,500-28,000/t (USD3,971-4,043/t) EXW D/P, unchanged from early this week. Insiders predict the mainstream prices would keep flat in the coming week as most suppliers have no plan to change their prices.
A producer from North China mentioned, "We offer RMB28,000/t (USD4,043/t) EXW D/P for chromium oxide green 99%min 325mesh and could accept the price as low as RMB27,000/t (USD3,899/t) at present, unchanged from early this week". They did not conclude any deal this week and last sold around 6t at RMB27,000/t (USD3,899/t) in mid April. They have no plan to change their price and predict the mainstream prices would keep flat in the coming week.
The producer, with the annual production capacity of 6,000t of chromium oxide green 99%min 325mesh, predicts to produce around 50t in April, unchanged from last month. They have around 70t of stocks at present.
A consumer from South China disclosed, "We received the quotation at RMB28,000/t (USD4,043/t) delivered D/A 180 days for chromium oxide green 99%min 325mesh with no concession at present, in line with early this week". They did not purchase so far in April and last purchased around 3t at RMB29,000/t (USD4,187/t) delivered D/A 180 days in early March. They estimate the mainstream prices would keep unchanged in the following week.
The consumer, with an annual consumption capacity of 120t of chromium oxide green 99%min 325mesh, predicts that they could not consume in April, while they consumed around 3t in March. They have no stock at present.
