Hunan Yuneng announced on April 24 that the company plans to invest in the construction of the second phase of Yunnan Yuneng New Energy Battery Material Production Base through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Yunnan Yuneng New Energy Battery Material Co., Ltd. The total investment for the project is about 8 billion yuan (1.16 billion US dollars), with self-raised funds as the source of funds.
The project mainly involves the construction of LMFP production line, iron phosphate production line, lithium carbonate processing production line, hydrogen peroxide production line, and other supporting projects. The planned construction period of the project is expected to be 48 months, and the actual construction situation will prevail.
