CISA: Major steel mills' average daily steel product output records 2.2Mt in mid-Apr

According to the data released by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA), in the second ten-day period of April 2023 major Chinese steel mills produced around 21.99 million tonnes of steel products, with the daily output averaging about 2.2 million tonnes, up by 0.93% from the previous ten-day period.
In the second ten-day period of April 2023, steel product inventory held by major Chinese steel mills totaled about 18.54 million tonnes, up by about 221,000 tonnes or 1,21% from the previous ten-day period.
