Jiuling Lithium upsizes fund raising for lithium carbonate project

Jiangxi Jiuling Lithium Co., Ltd. recently announced that it plans to go public on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, and its latest prospectus shows an upsized fund raising to RMB3,429 million (USD502 million) from the original RMB760 million (USD111 million).
The upsized fund raising consists of RMB295 million (USD43.16 million) for 5,000tpy lithium hydroxide and 10,000tpy high-grade lithium carbonate project, RMB165 million (USD24.14 million) for the construction of R&D center, RMB2,470 million (USD361 million) for a newly-added new energy material project developed by Fengcheng Jiuling Lithium Co., Ltd., as well as RMB500 million (USD73.15 million) for working capital purposes.
The newly-added project to be built by Fengcheng Jiuling Lithium will be located in Fengcheng, Yichun, Jiangxi, and it is expected to have an annual production capacity of 50,000t of battery grade lithium carbonate and by-products.
