Dawei Technology to invest in building lithium mineral resource comprehensive utilization projects

Dawei Technology announced recently that it signed an investment cooperation agreement with the government of Guiyang, Chenzhou, Hunan on December 28th to build lithium mineral resource comprehensive utilization projects, lithium battery industrial chain projects and new energy vehicle base projects. Dawei Technology, together with its holding subsidiaries, joint-stock companies and cooperative companies, temporarily plans to invest about RMB22 billion (USD3.16 billion) in the above projects, including RMB9 billion (USD1.29 billion) for projects related to mining and dressing of lithium ores, lithium carbonate, environmental protection and treatment of tailings, RMB12 billion (USD1.72 billion) related to production projects for lithium battery cathode materials and lithium batteries and RMB1 billion (USD143.61 million) related to projects of new energy vehicles.
