CATL Geely Power Battery Yinbin Project (Phase One) goes into full operation

A ceremony was held on December 19th in Yibin Sanjiang New Area in Sichuan to put CATL Geely Power Battery Yinbin Project (Phase One) into full operation. CATL Geely was a joint venture invested by CATL and Zeekr, a subsidiary of Geely Automobile, with the shares of 51% and 49% respectively. CATL Geely Power Battery Yinbin Project formally commenced building in October 2020 with the designed production capacity of 15GWhpy and a total investment of no more than RMB8 billion (USD1.15 billion). Covering an area of about 333,333 square meters, the project has gone into full operation after 14 months of preparation.
