Northern Rare Earth announced that recently, Metallic Materials Research Institute under Baotou Research Institute of Rare Earths (BRIRE) was relocated in Northern Rare Earth new material innovation base. Originating from a thermometallurgy research office, the Metallic Materials Research Institute has a history of sixty years and has developed a number of key technologies, including rare earth ferrosilicon alloy production equipment, REO-based rare earth metal electrolysis production technology, high-purity rare earth metal production technology, rare earth light-alloy material production technology, rare earth ferroalloy used in rare earth steel, rare earth zinc alloy material production.
