Dongfang Electric Heating: Subsidiary to invest RMB2 billion in construction of lithium electric nickel preplating steel strip project

Dongfang Electric Heating announced on December 15 that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Dongfang Jiutian, signed an agreement with the management committee of Jiangsu Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone. Huangqiao Economic Development Zone plans to transfer 19.77 acres of land to Dongfang Jiutian as the project construction land. Dongfang Jiutian plans to invest no less than RMB2 billion (USD287 million) in total to build the nickel preplating steel strip project for high-end lithium battery shell, with a construction period of two years.
