Anshan Heavy Duty Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. announced on November 7 that it signed the Investment Agreement for Lithium Carbonate Smelting Construction Project with the government of Guixi, Jiangxi, planning to invest in the construction of a lithium carbonate smelting production line with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons in Guixi. With a registered capital of 1 billion yuan (138 million US dollars), the project will be constructed in two phases. The first phase will build a lithium carbonate smelting production line with an annual production capacity of 25,000 tons, and the second phase will build a lithium carbonate production line with an annual production capacity of 25,000 tons.
