Dazhong Mining to invest RMB16 billion in building lithium projects in Linwu, Hunan

Dazhong Mining announced on November 4th that it signed an investment cooperation agreement with the government of Linwu, Chenzhou, Hunan to invest in developing lithium ore resources.
The projects are related to the mining and dressing of lithium-bearing polymetal ore resources, the processing of lithium carbonate and the production lithium batteries.
In accordance to the standard that a 5GWh battery project shall be allocated 10,000t of lithium carbonate resources, Dazhong Mining as well as its holding subsidiaries, investment companies and cooperative companies decide to totally invest around RMB16 billion (USD2.23 billion) in the above projects, including RMB4 billion (USD556 . 80 million) for mining and dressing projects, RMB2 billon (USD278 . 40 million) for pipe transmission, lithium processing and new-type building material projects and RMB10 billion (USD1 . 39 billion) for lithium battery production projects.
