Dowstone to invest RMB2 billion in building new energy battery material project

Dowstone announced on October 24th that it signed a contract with the Management Committee of Longnan Economy and Technology Development District in Jiangxi to invest in building a new energy battery material project. According to the contract, Dowstone will designate a subsidiary to invest in building the above project in Longnan Electric Information Industry Technology Zone to engage in R&D, production and marketing of grapheme, carbon nanotube powder, carbon nanotube paste, high-purity graphite, spherical graphite, expandable graphite, nano-silicon, lithium-ion battery anode and cathode materials, new energy battery materials and other products, raw materials and accessory materials related to lithium. The project is planned to have a total investment of RMB2 billion (USD273.67 million), including the fixed asset investment of RMB1 billion (USD136.83 million).
