China's National Development and Reform Commission and National Energy Administration are advancing the construction and implementation of major projects proposed for the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), and the country's investment in key energy fields is expected to increase by more than 20% by 2025, against the prior five-year plan period (2016-2020), providing a strong driving force to expand effective demand and promote stable economic growth, said Song Wen, deputy director of the Planning Department at the National Energy Administration, during a press conference held by the National Development and Reform Commission.
